Office Manager and Quality Assurance - order entry, invoicing, shipping, and inspection are performed according to customer requirements. The office manager is experienced in various specifications and requirements and manages our quality assurance team, as well as order entry and invoicing.. MIL-I-45208 is our standard in-process and finished goods inspection standard in lieu of other customer requirements. Instruments and tooling requiring calibration are performed to MIL-Q9858. Records are maintained of all inspections and product tests.
Manufacturing, Purchasing and Testing - RCS is best characterized as a job shop. We assemble and test products to industry standards, internal drawings and specifications and/or customer specifications. The plant manager has extensive experience in drawings, assembly techniques, soldering, and quality requirements. Printed circuit boards, metal fabrications and components are purchased from a variety of qualified outside sources; and assembled and tested to complete the required devices. These devices involve mechanical, electrical and electronic assemblies, cables, panels, and engraving to complete the work. Manufacturing is responsible for inventory storage, receiving/shipping, and testing facilities.
Contracts and Engineering - provides customer contact, contract management, warranty, quotations, drawings, test specifications, and other product documentation. The manager is a mechanical engineer and has experience working with specifications, manufacturing, rail equipment, vendors, nurseries, landscapers, and a variety of customers. The department reviews specifications and produces designs, bills of material for costing, working drawings, test specifications, manuals, and documents as needed by manufacturing and customers. The department can provide consulting work for companies requiring that assistance. The manager, designers, programmers, and draftsman/technicians work in concert to design, develop and qualify products using 2D and 3D AutoCAD. Drawings, test specifications, wiring lists and related production documents are controlled by Change and Release Notices. The department personnel perform qualification tests on first production equipment to assure it meets the design criteria. |
